CFDF in Chongqing May be Postponed

September 1st, undisclosed news came that dates of The 97th China Food and Drinks Fair（CFDF）, scheduled for October 19 – 21st in Chongqing, will be postponed for some reason.

After learning the news, WBO reporter immediately contact with related personnel for verification. According to the informed reports, scale of the Fair is large, considering geographical location of Chongqing, after consultation, possibility of changing dates is greater, and the delay may exceed our expectations.

Chongqing is experienced in holding CFDF. The 76thand 91st CFDF were held in Chongqing in 2007 spring and 2014 autumn, scale of the exhibition once hit history record, and achieved good economic and social benefits, and also left a deep impression for participants.

According to relevant sources, at present, Administrative Office of China Food and Drinks Fair is now negotiating with Chongqing government, but did not finally reach a consensus yet, and the final results will be announced next week as soon as possible.

As a hotel exhibition organizer revealed, dates would be changed due to negotiations with hotel, but may caused conflicts with some wedding ceremony booked by other guests. In this situation, some related personnel predicted that it may delay to the end October.
